ABOUT ME

I hail from Transylvania, a region renowned for its breathtaking Carpathian landscapes and storied history.

My journey into the world of photography began in the early 90s when I first experimented with my father's 6x6 camera. What started as a mere curiosity soon blossomed into a profound passion, ultimately evolving into a way of life.

In my early days as a photographer, I focused on documenting the poignant stories of old, abandoned Saxon villages, offering a glimpse into the fading tapestry of a once-vibrant culture. My work predominantly featured black and white photography, emphasizing a documentary perspective.

My formal education led me to graduate from the University of Art and Design in 2004, specializing in Photography. This academic journey broadened my horizons, leading me to explore a diverse range of photographic genres, including portrait, still life, sports, documentary, and advertising.

Parallel to my photography pursuits, I ventured into the advertising realm, dedicating nearly a decade to roles as a Graphic Designer and Creative Director. This dual engagement allowed me to blend my creative talents with the visual storytelling skills I honed through photography.
